Major Plots
These are plots that revolve around the entire site, your character included, if you wish. There will most likely be a risk or conflict your characters will face if they manage to get too involved, or even if they try to stay on the sidelines. (Just so that everyone gets a bit of the action ;P)
(0-0) RecruitmentKC based; citizen based. All KC members will be included. All cruxies will be included.
The KC are always on the lookout for possible new members. Whether they be citizens with a cruxie, or one without, but with possible talents or information that could be helpful, they are all still to be put under survey after given the offer to join and after they formally do join.

"Training was hard, and they're pretty tough on you at first, but once everything is said and done, it's all worth it. I've never been more proud to serve the city under the Red Force."
- Former member from years prior to KC The term "cruxie" developed in the streets of Janlea after the Chief who served before Kronus entitled those having an ability or talent beyond normal standards as holding a "crux." This was before the former "Red Force" was fully renamed to the Keystone Crux - the KC. Today, the term is mostly kept inside the KC as their label, and although heard by citizens, it is not always fully understood just what the term means. It has become slang among the street for those who do not fit in with the general crowd. It is doesn't have as much of a negative connotation as "deviant" does today. "Don't be such a deviant, that game is stupid." Meanwhile crux has also developed a closer similarity to the true meaning, as a term to call something someone is good at like a talent. "Art is truly his crux." These are a few other meanings that developed, alongside the actual meaning of the word. Crux: the most important part. |
(1-0) Exit is ExileKC based; citizen driven. All KC members will be included. All Acreage Zone citizens will be included.
Rumors have spread of the KC being the cause for several missing citizens in the Acreage Zone. The zone never was as welcoming of the organization, constantly feeling undermined and restricted to only their zone, not allowed easy access to the other zones.
The KC must somehow clean up their act in the Acreage Zone to get the citizens back on their side. |
"We are cities among cities, and we are a proper civilization among the retrogression." - Janlea
It's all connected. The citizens are meant to respect the Keystone Crux and in turn fear punishment if they give disrespect. The members of the powerful organization are trained to handle the few that step out of line and are to be diligent in doing so, aware of the penalty if they fail to do such. The head of the KC and the entire city, the Chief, is to be experienced in the area of leadership and guidance, keeping the people grounded and under control, giving full acknowledgement of the disasters that could arise through an absence of such. A strike of fear is what pierces through all of these layers. Everyone must stay in line, in turn, everyone must stay inside the order within the borders that line the city. To leave Janlea would be to completely leave society. There is no reason to leave, as you have all that is needed to live a successful life within the city. What you would find beyond the protected walls and gates are isolation and solitude. |
Secondary Plots
Secondary plots include individual characters, and are usually focused on a specific few. In most cases they will not affect everyone. If you would like to have your own secondary plot, feel free to message me on my chatango and we can come up with something.

(2-1) Hide and SeekCharacter based; KC and citizen driven. All Wolves of KC will be included.
A young boy who was once born a formal citizen within the city, but no longer so after his family took him to the outside, has stepped foot inside Janlea after his previous existence had been burned.
The boy is an unknown fugitive. The KC is unable to put out wanted signs or plaster his face on the broadcasted news due to his previous record being erased in all eyes besides the Chief and his Wolves. All other KC members are informed of the wanted boy, but he is marked as simply a criminal of the law in their records. Only to the Wolves is he marked as a fugitive, and are they aware of his previous life before the burn. |
"The KC are meant to keep citizens inside and obey the law of the city. They are meant to manage who enters from the outside, only permitting entry if they have the qualifying information. If an individual leaves the city, their previous life in the city is to be burned." -Code Book
The Keystone Crux is truthfully an intricate organization with many strings woven through. Every citizen holds a thread, some stronger and some more colorful than others. Once a citizen becomes a full member of the KC, that thread is pulled and woven in with all the others, pulled taut so that the slightest waver is felt within the whole system. If you lag behind, your string will become loose and useless to holding it together. If you start to stray from what is expected, or dig into where you shouldn't, your string will push against the others, causing all eyes to fall onto you. If you try to pull away from the center upon which all the strings are attached, you will only stretch it as far as you can go, only to be released by the cutting blade that slices your string in two, leaving it limp and broken. Some members of the KC, although still woven into the same makings, are branched into their own connection. The Chief is the center of it all. Dogs are connected to all other ranks, holding the possibility of being tied to a higher post. Crows are to the Eagles, which are on the same level as Lynx and Great Hounds which then all connect back to the Chief, the axis of the KC. On rare occasions, will a member of those ranks be tied to that of the Wolf rank, which is the closest of relations to the leader of it all, but also believed to not even be a part of the same system, and simply taking the name of the KC as an undercover for what they really are used for. |
