Metro Axial is Sync's domain. She knows the Metro like no one else does, in that she knows the many crisscrossing underground power lines, complex mainframes, and the copious networks of the city like one knows their own house- because she can travel through them. Sync's level of technopathy is quite above average, as her manipulation is widely versatile, from traveling the electrical currents of the rail system, entering a computer's mainframe and accessing it's data and manipulating its function, cracking security systems, and manipulating gadgets. She use to not be able to this much, but through the help of the Keystone Crux, she was able to hone her skills and to reach her full potential. One of the things she started doing a couple of years ago was giving up human necessities, such as food, water and sleep. That's not to say that she doesn't require them at all, but that she doesn't have to rely on them, as she can get energy from power, like a phone charges. When she is injured however, in order to heal her human body she requires standard medical treatment and sustenance, along with power if she wants to regain her ability's normal strength.
he was invited into the KC when she was 14 and has been in the organization for a little over 4 years, as she is now 18. She's worked hard to become what she is today, and is very grateful for what the KC has done. She considers the Chief to be like an old friend and mentor, and would risk her life for him, even if he doesn't feel the same way. When she was growing up, her parents always let her down, didn't understand her, and were very unreliable. She had given up on trusting people, but that all changed when she became a Crux. The people there understood her, were there for her, and slowly gained her trust, especially the Chief. Due to her unique abilities, she quickly became a valued member and eventually rose to the rank of Wolf- taking on solo missions directly from the Chief, gaining authority and importance. With this hard earned accomplishment the KC gave her a special suit uniquely designed just for her. With her skill, she is able to manipulate its powered gliding wings and switch them to a 'sword mode' to be used in physical combat. With it, also came a special pistol with altered bullets that have built in circuitry with a special signal linked to her suit, causing her to be able to 'jump' to the bullets. She's still working on mastering this though, as it takes an extreme amount of precision.
Back when she went by the name of Xana Veldez, Sync had found comfort in technology, and would use her talents to escape the confinements of her problematic home life. At the age of eight, she began running away from home- through her home's wifi. It would take a lot out of her, until she learned she could absorb power and charge like most other electronics could. Through hard practice, she was slowly able to travel further and gained better navigation skills, no longer getting as lost through the maze of the city's networks. She finally decided to run away for good at the age of 13, but never left Metro Axial, as she was most comfortable there. She doesn't talk much about her home life, except with a vague explanation of no one understanding her and despising her home.
With long light brown hair with a few highlights, silver-blue eyes like the reflective surface of the abundant metal of the Metro, and a fit body, she could be considered beautiful, if only her heart wasn't as cold and heard like a bank's high security vault. That's not to say she's cruel, but that she refuses to let people in and understand her way of seeing, thinking, and being. She is very rarely seen without her suit on, and tends to lurk alone high above the streets, distancing herself from the rest of humanity in a way. She rarely leaves Metro Axial except to the Lucent Zone, where she has restricted access to parts of the zone- a limit she doesn't mind to much and understands- as she is a lot more powerless in the other zones, especially the Waterside Zone, as water is her bane. She has no real residence, as she considers all of Metro Axial her home, and constantly roams about the area, not needing an apartment, house, or facilities. If she did ever need one, someone in the organization would most likely aid her- fat chance that she'd ever admit such a thing though.
